Private walking tours in Singapore with a licensed guide
A 3-hour private walk for one or two guests, on a route built around what you want to understand. Add a photo session for pictures of you along the way.

Why a private tour
Singapore makes more sense once you know how it works
Most visitors have a few days here. The signboards at each attraction tell you what you are looking at. They rarely tell you why it is there, who decided it, or how it was built and kept running.
Take Marina Bay Sands. It stands on land reclaimed from the sea, and since 2008 the bay in front of it has been a freshwater reservoir, closed off by the Marina Barrage.
Most people photograph the hotel. Few know why the water is there.
That is what this tour is about. Each tour is private and sized for one or two guests, so the conversation can go anywhere. During the breaks, ask about life here beyond the route: how CPF, the national savings scheme, works, what national service involves, or what school is like for Singaporean children.

How much walking is there?
Most of the 3 hours is on foot at a steady pace, with a break along the way. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and an umbrella.
Is it suitable for children?
The routes cover a fair distance on foot in tropical heat, and the storytelling is pitched at adults, so they are not designed for young children. If you are unsure whether a route suits your party, ask us.
